Al Costello and Roy Heffernan, the Fabulous Kangaroos captured the imagination of audiences with their bush hats and boomerang gimmicks including using the song 'Waltzing Matilda' as their entrance music. During the 1950s, the superstar tag team of Antonio Rocca and Miquel Perez were a phenomenon that packed arenas and gained headliner status. But there were only a handful of them that could match or exceed a select few of the single world champions and reach the highest-levels of genuine main-event status that a promotion could be built around.
